Holly & Mike
It's probably among the biggest of compliments to be asked back to shoot another wedding in the same family. In this case, I documented Mike's twin brother Matt's wedding back in 2006. So, adding to my excitement for the day was getting to see Matt and Ashley again!

Upon my arrival, I was engulfed in gigantic hugs from both Mike and Matt, who give the most amazing hugs of anyone I know, seriously. Nothing like feeling welcome right from the first moment!

Anyway, to the images. Mike and Holly are both amazingly genuine, warm, beautiful people. I love you both, what an honour to capture your day, I had a blast!

Holly, one of my gorgeous red haired brides this year(I have 4!) wears flowers in her hair regularly, it was just so 'her' to be wearing them on her wedding day.

For the couple to kiss, guests had to successfully remove a piece from the Operation game on the head table

Aren't they cute? After dancing to slow songs, they'd stay on the floor and dance to the fast ones. Like Boom Boom Pow, and Lady Gaga. Awesome.

Jaime challenged Matt to a dance off, to Buffalo Soldier. There was much booty shakin' and laughter but I'm not sure who won...

Beautiful Hycroft with Laura & Kent
This was my first visit to Hycroft and I definitely look forward to going back. Laura and Kent held their ceremony in the garden and included touches from family & friends, afterwards everyone enjoyed an ethnic feast, everything from Indian to sushi. Laura was lovely in the lace veil that was her grandmother's, and if you read here regularly, you know I have a 'thing' with long veils this year!

I loved the elegance of these dresses, how they each had their own style yet coordinated perfectly!

The veil blew right off Laura's head as the rain rolled in with the wind, action shot :)

He's a vinyl dj, and if you're looking for some new tunes for the gym, check out the downloads... they're a mainstay on my ipod!

Mark & Lesley
I had a really hard time choosing which images to post from Mark & Lesley's wedding, I have so many favourites from so many different facets of the day. These two are beautiful inside and out.
They exchanged emotional vows at the Celebration Pavilion in Queen Elizabeth Park... I think the entire room was in tears. (myself included!) We had a relaxed shoot at George Wainborn Park, and walked back to the False Creek Yacht Club for the reception.
Mark & Lesley, it was truly a pleasure to document this day for you... I wish you many more chapters in your beautiful love story.

Carol & Mike
Since there have been many trips back & forth across the Cambie Street bridge throughout the relationship of Carol & Mike it seemed fitting that we would do the same thing for their engagement shoot. Beginning in Yaletown we walked over to the Olympic Village area and back, shooting all along the way. Here's some favourites...
